Using Both Components Together

Some applications benefit from both lifting assistance and speed control. A gas spring can counterbalance the load while a separate damper limits acceleration near the end of travel. Integrated designs are also possible, but they must be matched to the full motion geometry.

Align mounting points to prevent side loading. Do not scratch, bend, heat, drill or open a pressurized gas spring.
